While searching for !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I came across this church-on-Sunday special: a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
If you’ve got a Chrysler cab forward fetish, you might want to jump on this now. After that, perhaps call a shrink.

I saw quite a nice Corvair in roughly that blue the other day. Well, okay, maybe “nice Corvair” is a silly phrase on some levels but I’m not changing it.

What’s the achilles heel of these, transmissions? Has to be the best one in the wooooorld, but still just a nice old used car.
Makes me think back, around 1998-99 my mother was looking to buy another car, and for some reason, ended up test driving a 1995 Eagle Vision, TSi or whatever the top model was, loaded and immaculate. She asked the indy mechanic she patronizes what he thought, he said “nope”. White on grey just like this.

On one hand, I really want this. On the other, I think this should be a museum piece to remind us of when Chrysler could almost make a good FWD family sedan as well as the genesis of the production “cab-forward” design.

that is one of those odd 60's colors that just lasts so well.
the color just looks so plain and clean....
the color seems to have made its way onto just about everything....

We had Intrepids as company vehicles during that time period and they were nice - never had issues with them. The 3.5 v6 Magnums that replaced the Intrepids were nice too - excellent to eat lots of hwy miles. The current batch of 200s we have are absolute junk.

For a regional sales-rep type car (exactly what my dad was doing when he had his) they were actually pretty perfect, apparently. Well-Equipped, relatively efficient, reliable, comfortable, and quiet. They haven’t aged well though.

Isn’t this one of the engines that’s notorious for sludging?

My grandparents bought a 1995 Concorde in late 1994. It was the final car either of them owned; my grandfather died in the fall of 1995, and my grandmother in the fall of 2010. As far as I know, the car held up well through 16 years of Minnesota driving, although it brought less than $1000 to my grandmother’s estate upon its sale. The body was rust-free, but there were some suspension/wheel/tire issues. I always liked the way the silver paint took on a faint blue or pink hue, depending on the light, but my grandmother occasionally expressed regret that she and ‘Bud’ hadn’t paid extra for a model with leather seats.

The 2.7 V6 in the 2nd gen, IIRC. Not this 3.5

I was considering buying one of these a longwhile ago. Took a nice clean white one with 90k miles out for a test drive. the transmission made a horrible noise and got stuck in 2nd just before I got back to the dealer lot lol.
the suspension was known for issues on these ... examples:

I believe it. Back around 1998, my dad bought a Chrysler T&C, fell in love with it and paid what seemed like an immense amount of money. Within 6 months the transmission crapped out. The replacement had no issues, anyway.
